About Somatic Breathwork
Somatic breathwork is a body-centered & grounded practice that is as practical as it is impactful. It allows us to see ourselves more clearly, through patterns of inhale and exhale, re-establishing ourselves as the creators of our own lives. This practice can move us through traumas, help us to identify obstacles or blockages, and rediscover the center of ourselves.

There is a palpable holding of space, so that whatever needs to be unraveled can be done so safely and productively. This is the space where memories can meet the landing pad of presence to heal, not to retraumatize. In this practice, there is no shame or blame; what arises is what is received, released, or integrated. These sessions are a field of safety, compassion, and love for whatever comes up.

This practice supports the location of interior constellations to guide us forward. The lucidity of breath pops the rigidity and brings mobility from the calcified stories that we often return to. Through this process, we become our own creator again. We are god expressing ourselves to take whole responsibility of our own choice-making, and become the source of our own healing.
How I came to this work
Somatic Breathwork has been part of my personal and professional life since early adulthood. I began studying the practice at 20 years old with Katherine Darling, with whom I’ve been steeped in this practice since. I studied, trained, interned, apprenticed, and practiced with her for over 15 years before I started offering this practice to my community.
Woven into this steady practice have been comprehensive and classical yoga studies, intensive priestess training, women’s circle community development, and the refinement of clairaudience. And also, Motherhood.
Like most of us, I have experienced churns of spirit that were exasperatingly difficult, hard to define, and seemingly dissolving my daily life. In one particular year, I faced challenges that were compromising in both body and mind. It was the practice of Somatic Breathwork that accompanied me home into my body, and returned me to the center of my own life.
If you are curious about the practice, I encourage you to book a complimentary call with me. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have, and look forward to connecting with you.
